Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has urged his international team mate Sami Khedira to join Arsenal this summer amidst competition from Chelsea who also want the signature of the German.
The Real Madrid star has been linked with the Gunners this summer and so many people believe that the deal is almost done.
Lukas Podolski who shared an apartment with Khedira during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil revealed that he has not in any way convinced his German team mate to join the London club but says he will be very elated if Khedira joins Arsenal.
"I don't have to try to convince Khedira to join Arsenal," Lukas told Sport Bild.
"Sami knows how much fun he could have with me, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker at Arsenal. We had a great time together at the World Cup and I would like it very much if he comes to London."
Reports also claim that Khedira has demanded for a weekly pay of about €250,000 before he signs for the Gunners.
