It is been officially confirmed on the Arsenal website that two Arsenal stars have left the club this week.

Following the departure of Lukas Podolski to Internazionale, two other players from Arsenal have also left the club this week.

Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has made a permanent move to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee. I know what you are thinking by now, you feel that the move is not really painful since he hasn't played much games for the first team but I refuse to agree with you if that's your opinion about his move.

A striker at the age of 21 who has proved himself at different levels shouldn't just be thrown out of the club just like that. Benik Afobe is a product of the Arsenal Academy and has been of great help since he started playing for the U21s. He has been on loan at MK Dons since the start of the 2014/15 season and has scored 19 goals within three months in 30 appearances. What more do you expect from a striker. However, it is really painful to let him go because so many Arsenal fans who know him very well are aware that he has got a lot of potentials to thrive at any club. We wish him a successful career at his new club.

On the other hand Arsenal forward Yaya Sanogo has also completed a loan move to Crystal Palace in order to get adequate first team experience. He is expected to be with them for the rest of the season.

It is very necessary for Arsenal to make some signings looking at the volume of players who have left the club this January. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and see what Arsene Wenger will do before the January transfer window closes.
